## 19 Best SparkPost Alternatives
...
Complete replacement for teams using SparkPost for transactional.
Sequenzy fills the marketing gap SparkPost leaves - subscriber management, campaigns, segmentation, and event-based automations alongside transactional delivery.
...
Best for SaaS teams who use SparkPost for transactional but need a separate marketing tool and want to consolidate everything into one platform.
...
Postmark achieves consistently high inbox placement by rejecting customers whose use cases might harm shared IP reputation - a fundamentally different approach than SparkPost's predictive analytics.
...
At $15/month for 10,000 emails, the pricing is straightforward versus SparkPost's opaque enterprise tiers.
...
Resend has raised the bar for email APIs - clean TypeScript SDKs, React Email for building templates with components, and an intuitive dashboard that makes SparkPost's interface feel like a relic.
The 3,000 emails/month free tier lets you test extensively, and $20/month for 50,000 emails is dramatically simpler than SparkPost's enterprise pricing.
...
At $19.95/month for 50,000 emails on Essentials, pricing is straightforward compared to SparkPost's enterprise model.
...
Best for teams who want proven enterprise scale with the Twilio ecosystem and need both transactional and basic marketing without SparkPost's acquisition uncertainty.
...
Mailgun offers a solid middle ground between SparkPost's enterprise complexity and Resend's startup simplicity - good API documentation, email validation included, and detailed analytics with log retention.
...
At $35/month for 50,000 emails on Foundation, it's more transparent pricing than SparkPost's custom enterprise tiers.
...
Best for developers who want a reliable email API with built-in validation and better documentation at more predictable pricing than SparkPost.
...
At 1 million emails/month, SES costs roughly $100 versus SparkPost's custom enterprise pricing that's typically much higher.
...
Customer.io excels at event-driven messaging across channels - complex user journey automations triggered by product usage, behavioral data, and custom events that SparkPost can't handle since it's pure delivery infrastructure.
...
At $100/month for 5,000 profiles on Essentials, it's expensive but replaces both SparkPost and whatever marketing tool you'd pair with it.
The trade-off is 5-10x SparkPost's price, steep learning curve, and overkill for simple transactional email.
...
Brevo combines transactional email, marketing campaigns, SMS, and a basic CRM with unlimited contacts on all plans - far more features than SparkPost's transactional-only approach.
SMTP and API access work for both transactional and marketing, and at $25/month for 20,000 emails, it's dramatically cheaper and more transparent than SparkPost's enterprise pricing.
...
At high volume, the savings versus SparkPost are substantial.
The trade-off is a basic developer experience, deliverability that's less consistent than SparkPost's enterprise infrastructure, slower support, and none of the predictive analytics that SparkPost provides.
...
Cleaner than SparkPost, purpose-built for software companies.
...
Clean API, good deliverability, and actually positions itself as a SparkPost alternative.
...
If you used SparkPost's sandbox for testing and their API for production, Mailtrap replaces both with a unified pipeline.
...
Works with any email provider for sending, giving you the provider independence that SparkPost's Bird acquisition made everyone wish they had.
...
If SparkPost's recurring enterprise pricing made you question the economics of email, Sendy flips the model entirely - pay once and own the software forever.

Nada, Sparkpost y MessageBird tienen el peor servicio que he visto jamás.

Sparkpost y MessageBird son irresponsables con la suspensión de cuentas, no les importa el impacto que pueden causar a los clientes, y no les importa el servicio.

### "SparkPost Review: Delivering Emails with Precision."
...
My experience with SparkPost was very good.
...
High Deliverability: SparkPost has a strong reputation for ensuring emails land in inboxes.
...
Pricing: While SparkPost offers a free plan, it may become costly at higher volumes.
...
I can only warn anybody who relies on their mail being sent to use sparkpost.
We used sparkpost for more than two years.
...
We only use sparkpost to send transactional mail to our customers and do not send unsolicited marketing mails or similar.
...
In order to protect all of our senders against potentially bad actors or bad sending practices that would affect sending pools, we have a strong Messaging Policy that we enforce posted on our website (https://www.sparkpost.com/policies/messaging/).
...
I never had the problem of an email not arriving or getting into the spam folder after installing Sparkpost.
It has an easy to install WordPress plugin that makes sure all emails that are sent by the website get sent via Sparkpost.
Before installing Sparkpost we had several clients complaining that filled in contact forms would land in their spam folder but we haven't had the problem after installing Sparkpost.
...
We had this problem with one client for which we couldn't activate Sparkpost because it had been installed by another party before and we didn't know who this was so we couldn't ask them to remove the domain from Sparkpost.

I have been using SparkPost for a long time and use it to send comment and form notifications from Wordpress.

### "Sparkpost & MessageBird are irresponsibles"
...
Sparkpost & MessageBird are irresponsibles with their account suspension, they don't care about the impact they can produce to the customers, and they don't care about the service.
They cut our service because they didn't answer to more than 25 emails and 15 tickets we opened to inform that we need the payment information which they changed when moved from Sparkpost to MessageBird.
...
Nothing, Sparkpost and MessageBird don't know how to manage service
...
To use SparkPost, you must use a third party tool.
...
SparkPost will prompt you to add a credit card to cover any overages outside of your free amount.
...
My bank checked my transactions and discovered that they'd \*approved\* every one, but SparkPost had then \*reversed the authorisation\*.
I informed SparkPost of this, that there was a problem with \*their\* system.
